Los Angeles Cancer Center Acquires another 102 Leaf DMLC from LinaTech

LOS ANGELES, UNITED STATES, June. 23, 2011 -- A leading cancer clinic has acquired a second 102 Leaf DMLC for use on another one of their linear accelerators to begin delivering advanced radiotherapy treatments. Many patients have been treated using the existing 102 Leaf DMLC for fast, precise radiotherapy since its initial use at Valley Cancer Institute in Culver City/Los Angeles.

Valley Cancer Institute serves many hundreds of patients each year and this number is expected to increase due to the acquisition of a second 102 Leaf DMLC. The Institute uses equipment and software from a variety of suppliers but is moving more towards using LinaTech as their main supplier for specific RT machines and software.
