Orthogonal Double-layer MLC

VenusX is mainly composed of Radiation Treatment Head, kV and MV Imaging System, Treatment Couch and other auxiliary systems. The LINAC can cover 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy (3D-CRT), Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Rotational Radiation Therapy (VMAT) and other treatment modes and is equipped with kV-CBCT, MV-EPID and BPS for the mixed image-guidence. Automated AI QA function makes streamlines quality control, and allows for increased accuracy in patient treatment. VenusX introduces the world's first orthogonal double-layer multi-leaf collimator technology, which effectively improves dose conformity and uniformity. Through these innovations, VenusX LINAC can provide better protection for the organs at risk (OARs) and can better meet clinical needs for precise treatment of complex cases.

The VMAT based on the Orthogonal Double-Layer MLC has a shorter treatment time than the traditional IMRT technique. TPS is equipped with a GPU based accelerated Monte-Carlo dose algorithm, making planning more accurate and efficient.

Designed with the independent double slip rings, the kV CBCT Image Guidance System and MV EPID can reduce alignment time through automated positioning powered by the hybrid algorithm.
