'D2SRS' Stereotactic Radiation Therapy System

The D2SRS is an add-on solution in Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT). It is a Multi-leaf Collimator (MLC) with leaves as thin as 2mm at isocenter, including dual cameras to track a patient’s position, 9 adjustable 'Cone' sizes with a 10x10cm treatment field to ensure accuracy. The advantage of this add-on device is the ability for one person to attach the MLC to any LINAC for more precise SRS/SBRT treatment and remove it again for larger field VMAT/IMRT/Conformal plans. This cutting-edge technology reinvents the idea of thin leaves on a new machine, and extends the life of older LINAC units with the capabilities of SRS/SBRT treatment. Along with the Monte-Carlo based Treatment Planning System (TPS) and the best MV Image Viewing System (IVS), the D2SRS can be widely used in the radical treatment of intracranial, lung, liver, prostate and pancreatic cancer and other tumors.
